His travels across Germany, France, and Southern Europe enriched his quick, sketch-like style, characterized by a light and harmonious color palette. Active as a theater painter in Stockholm and Malmö during the 1940s, Ripa exhibited internationally in Paris, New York, and Stockholm. His works, including landscapes from the Torekov area and floral still lifes, are held in several Swedish museum collections, earning him recognition among collectors of Nordic art.
