Garden Cafe

Artist: Eva Holmberg-Jacobsson

Dated: ‘56

Medium: Mixed Media

Dimensions: 13” x 16.5”

The painting portrays a tranquil terrace or garden scene rendered in a vibrant, stylized manner. In the foreground, a round green table is adorned with a variety of fruits, including oranges and possibly other produce, set against a backdrop of lush foliage. Tall, slender trees with yellowing leaves frame the composition, suggesting an autumnal setting. A white bench with a green railing curves gently to the left, adding a sense of depth. Beyond the terrace, rolling fields and distant trees stretch toward a soft, muted horizon.

This piece is in very good condition, consistent with its vintage age, with no obvious signs of wear. All artwork is sold as found, and we always carefully photograph and highlight any notable signs of age.
