This oil painting captures a serene autumnal landscape in a realistic yet softly impressionistic style. About the Artist: Englund was a Swedish painter, who made several public murals in Swedish schools and institutions. He was trained in Sweden and Paris - after which he traveled extensively in Europe in the late 40s and 50s. He is now in several Swedish regional museums, including Länsmuseet Gävleborg
This piece is in very good condition, consistent with its vintage age, with no obvious signs of wear.
